Ian Millar recently signed on as a spokesperson for Ogilvy Equestrian products. Keean White has been a loyal Ogilvy Equestrian customer for several years. We’ll be watching them both closely….

Ashley Holtzer

We were thrilled to hear that Ashley Holtzer will be representing Canada in Las Vegas from April 15 to 19, 2009.

Ms Holtzer has distinguished herself in the international spotlight with her horse Pop Art (Amsterdam x Cabochon), a 12 year old Dutch Warmblood, and will be competing against some of the best riders in the world over the next few days. She is presently ranked first in North America for dressage and holds 12th place at the international level.

We will be following her performances at the finals of the 2009 FEI Rolex World Cup.

Welcome!

Welcome to the new Ogilvy Equestrian Blog!

As the 2008 Season begins to wind down, we feel it's an ideal time to launch our first blog – lots to report on after a very busy summer.

It was great to dust off the Ogilvy Horse tent and get out with the riders, renewing old acquaintances (and making many new ones), and as always the reception was terrific. More and more riders are seen warming up and competing with Ogilvy products. And we've seen that more riders are winning with Ogilvy products. We offer our congratulations to their successful season, and to the successes of future seasons.

2008 was a summer of change at Ogilvy. We became Ogilvy Equestrian (with the Ogilvy Horse line of saddle pads!), and Jack jumped on board. With the name change came logo and web-site changes (remember, ogilvyequestrian.com). Product names were simplified, and options such as barn colors and custom embroidery were introduced. Jackie introduced the Black Bamboo Collection, as well as the Riding Rain Sheet and other goodies (and there's more where they came from!). Yes, 2008 was a summer of change, but one thing remained constant, and that was the support and appreciation shown by those who use the products.
And of course we had the exhilaration of The Olympics, and the joy of watching silver and gold for our Canadian Jump Team! A ginormous congratulations goes out to Jill, Eric, Mac, and Ian for their stellar performance on the world's stage, and for putting equestrian sport on the front page once again. And while we're at it, congratulations to Beezie, Laura, Will, and McLain for keeping it on the continent, to the Dressage and Eventing Teams for their accomplishments, and to all of the riders for the sacrifices and commitment to their respective discipline.

So, come and take a look regularly to our blog to make sure you are not missing anything: lots of projects in the pipeline and announcements to come.
Also, we will send a monthly newsletter; do not hesitate to contact us to give us your email address if you are interested to receive it.
